I was invited to write a „contra Holacracy“ comment for the Austrian „Hernsteiner“ magazine on Leadership. I was surprised to find out, that the „Pro-Holacracy“ part was not delivered by the prospective authors to the magazine after all.
This will be my last comment on Holacracy, as I have lost interest in this topic. However, here are my thoughts and ideas. It is in German, but the Management Summary goes like that:
We don’t need less Leadership but different and better Leaders. Abolishing Leaders and replacing them with a social technology like Holacracy will not solve the problem of disempowerment and confusion – on the contrary! What we need now is less structure and more culture, less rules and more Leadership, less fear and more courage, less control and more creativity, less technology and more humanity.
